The e-Reader has come into a niche of its own offering the ability to carry hundreds of books with you at all times in a device the size of a small pamphlet or magazine.
Still to replace a physical book in your hand can be a hard transition for most book lovers. The surprise for most today is how much they love their e-readers. Again for the sake of repetition, and to drive the point home, many e-book readers LOVE their e-readers and your not going to take them away from them.
That shows you how well these small devices work. Many utilize Pearl E Ink Technology which offers superb paper like reading even in direct sunlight. Others use a e-Paper technology, while still others use backlit TFT LCD screens which making reading at bedtime with no lights as much of a pleasure as the E Ink devices do reading on the beach.
Structured Best e-Book Readers Reviews
A good review needs to address both the details and offer “at-a-glance” information for those with no time to waste. Best e-Book Readers offers a structured review format which does just that, and helps you make an informed decision prior to purchase of a device your going to spend some serious time with in the future.
We also write the reviews from a personal standpoint, not just a parroted owners manaul or Press Release from the manufacturer. Additionally we read consumer reviews and do a trend analysis looking for design flaws and resiliency.

Claims of no glare reading in direct sunlight seem almost unbelievable. Battery Life exceeding 7 days, and free Wi-Fi would have been absurd a few years ago.” |

E-Book Reader Software
E-Book Reader manufacturers naturally try and provide as many different formats as possible in you reader, unless they are proprietary. The more ebook formats you can read the more likely you are to buy their reader.
However software is software and to be able to read so many formats, sometimes the formats need to be converted. For example a pdf file might need to be converted to a html file. Or you need player or reader software to be able to read it in the native format.
But how do you find all this software? Hopefully the manufacturer will provide it or provide the web address.
But in case they don’t, here are some software links you may need depending on your ebook reader.
